Try QuickBooks InvoicingHow to Use This Invoice Generator
Fill in your business name and address at the top, then add your client's details below. Give the invoice a unique number so you can reference it later. Add each product or service as a line item with a quantity and rate. The totals update automatically as you type.
If you need to charge sales tax, enter the rate in the tax field. The tax gets calculated on the subtotal and added to the grand total. When everything looks right, click the download button and you get a clean PDF saved to your computer. No account needed, no watermarks added.
Your data stays in your browser the entire time. Nothing gets uploaded to any server. When you close the page, all the information is gone, so make sure to download your PDF before you leave.
What Makes a Good Invoice
Clear invoices get paid faster. Include your full business name and contact details so the client knows exactly who the invoice is from. Use a sequential invoice number so both you and your client can reference it easily. Always include the date the invoice was issued and the date payment is due.
Be specific with your line item descriptions. Instead of writing "consulting," write "website SEO audit and recommendations report, March 2026." This helps your client understand exactly what they are paying for and reduces questions that delay payment.
Add payment instructions in the notes field. Tell your client how to pay you, whether that is bank transfer, check, PayPal, or another method. The easier you make it for them to send money, the faster you get paid.
